I know some people aren’t a fan of Ashley Flowers given her 2002 controversy over claims of plagiarism (a journalist says they read/quoted a portion of her copyrighted story almost verbatim without properly citing the source)…regardless of that, I’ve been an avid listener of Crime Junkie, and honestly, given the way they deliver their stories sometimes it’s not surprising…

At any rate - I did enjoy this book, mostly because it’s set in Northern Indiana and I am very familiar with the area; it was neat to be able to connect with those locations. The story was interesting, a bit twisty - some parts I figured out, and by the end of the book I was just kind of nodding, like “oh yeah, that makes sense…”
