This book really was not for me. I found the pacing quite odd. The first 2/3rds of this book are really slow and I found them to be a bit useless plot wise. This is not to say that it wasn’t interesting only that it was unnecessary other than to explain family dynamics and characters. The last 1/3rd of the book felt rushed, like they took the whole plot and crammed it in at the end. I do, however, know that this is one of Jane Austen’s less popular books, and I plan on reading more from her in the future.
