The Space Between Worlds by Micaiah Johnson

Did not finish book.
I had to DNF because I started getting squeamish. I’m usually not the squeamish type, but there are a lot of unexpected graphic medical details (so proceed with caution if that is triggering for you). 

I hope to return to finish this book in earnest in the future because the premise was interesting and the pacing was decent.
