The Testing by Joelle Charbonneau

3.0

Okay, where do i start. I did enjoy this book but i did'n Love it.
it was okay. when the books first came out I freaking loved it and the entire book trilogy was my favorite trilogy once, But that changed over the years. I still do like it, but i don't love it.
It kind of looks like The hunger games, The maze runner and divergent with just a little of orginallity.
First of all, Sia is perfect. She does everything right. she doesn't look "perfect" but you do have the feeling though.
The story is fast packed, but you read a lot about Sia questioning about what she wants to do.
Most of the characters are quit plain and very black and white without any backstory, And i really enjoy a character with a good backstory.

(THIS IS A REVIEW ABOUT THE ENTIRE TRILOGY)
My favorite character must by that guy who she meets when she is in college. I don't remember his name. (it has been a while since i've read the books) He is great.
The plottwists weren't as Obvious as i thought. that was well done.
I didn't expect that Will would be a traitor!
i was annoyed by Thomas. he kind of reminded me of Gale from the hunger games.
I didn't like the fact that the leaders of this society removed the memories of the people who joined the Testing. The idea was good, but Joelle didn't portrai it as well as i hoped.
I did like the fact of the system and the worldbulding. (much like the hunger games.)
And i did like the entire idea of the testing.
overall, there were some critics but besides that, it was a great fast written story and YES I DO RECCOMEND IT!
