CEO of a security firm protects BFF's little sis from her stalker. It's the usual setup of broody and protective versus headstrong and spunky. She knows what she wants, and goes for it. In contrast, he's a bit too hung up on the age gap and his past. They share some good chemistry, and the connection they built amidst forced proximity lends believable depth to their romance.

Though they'd benefit from a little more tension, I still enjoyed them as a couple. And I've always liked a protective hero! The suspense is good, especially at 75% in, though some setups could be stronger. But I
didn't like the rather cliché reason for the 80% conflict, and her brother is an ass
. The writing is sometimes uneven and pacing is a little off, but it's still a solid debut.
