This was a weird one for me.
The beginning was slow and didn't hook me at all. I didn't connect with the characters or any of the situations which made it hard for me to get into.
But towards the end of the book there is one passage. This passage explains how Alaska came to be like she is. It explained everything to me, it felt like true John Green magic in written words. Beautiful! Then came the ending, which left me thinking about everything.
So all in all a great book!
