What an absolutely sweet book.
I found the verse difficult to read at times, which unfortunately means it might not reach children with reading difficulties. Having said that, the actual story of Stevie questioning whether she had a crush on her friend Chloe or not was so familiar.
The fear and confusion is palpable without being overwhelming.
I loved how important the local library is to the resolution.
Funnily enough it was in the YA section of my local library when it's suitable for any age.
