I did not enjoy most of these short stories
I found them a little incoherent and with little substance.
I often wonder with short sort collectivise like these, if these are the beginning of something bigger that the author just couldn’t move on with.
A few, like “porthole” and “king “ left me needing to know more backstory and to continue the journey.
