The Sense of an Ending by Julian Barnes
4.0
I really enjoyed reading this one until the end, at which point I felt totally lost.
The ending is..what’s the word I am looking for?
I have no idea.
I see multiple theories of the ending online, and it surprises me because the ending definitely doesn’t seem open-ended.
I hate it when there are multiple theories for the ending. Especially because the writer couldn’t/didn’t write a proper ending. Sure, there are great stories with multiple possible endings which make complete sense. But this one doesn’t.
And it’s sad. Because I really enjoyed the book until the 148th page of the 150-pages book.
