Maybe this was a weird choice to read right now, but I really really liked it. Sort of a cross between visceral magical realism and an alcohol-soaked ghost story. Beautiful lyrical writing, interesting characters, a compelling and (sur)realistic story of grief and survival. Deeply relatable to me right now despite the completely different circumstances
