‘Why lie?’ - simple, yet incredibly effective. What a way to end the first book of a trilogy!
Having read two Shadowhunter series’, I half expected to be disappointed with this sequel. I was waiting for the magic to fizzle out and the stories to start sounding repetitive (as you’d expect after 9 previous books) but once again I’m pleasantly surprised. With each book I read, I fall deeper in love with this fantasy world! Cassandra Clare is truly brilliant.
