The Winter Guest by Pam Jenoff

5.0

I think this book took me so long to read because I was desperately trying to finish The Wizard of Oz plus a bunch of other stuff.

But I really liked the end of this novel, it was captivating, truthful, dazzling, but realistically sad. I couldn't put it down all day, and got in a solid two hours of reading yesterday. It was great, and a very hard part to put down.

I was so excited today that I even ranted to my friend a part in the story with Ruth (those of you who know, great. If you don't know, I won't spoil it). She said that after what I told her about the thing with Ruth, she would totally read it.

It's a great book with intriguing characters and great plot twists that will leave you turning page after page and on the edge of your seat.

It's worthy of five stars, and worthy to have its place on any person's bookshelf.
