Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky
3.0

I loved this story, I absolutely love how the characters are fleshed out. I loved being inside the mind of the murderer and watching him slowly go mad. That part of this book was excellent. The issue I had was the pacing and the length. Maybe it’s because I’m an impatient person, but it felt like so much of this book just dragged on and got repetitive and boring. There was a lot of stuff going on with different characters but somehow it seemed so long winded. Again, I loved the story but would have really loved it if it was about 200 pages shorter and more concise.
