a very difficult read. i cannot fathom what the author went through. the wife’s role in the whole thing was so unimaginable. i also feel like the system really let her down. this man should’ve been caught so much sooner considering all of his other crimes.
btw i completely disagree that this author needed a ghost writer. this is a raw account of the authors experience, including some diary entries from her time in captivity. the author does not need to make her account of the experience appeal to anyone’s taste imo. considering the authors situation, it is kinda insane to criticize her writing skills…
