Present Over Perfect: Leaving Behind Frantic for a Simpler, More Soulful Way of Living by Shauna Niequist
3.0
There are some things you can take from this book, but it’s missing something.
This is a human story: it’s vulnerable, raw and honest. But it doesn’t have enough Jesus in it.
It feels as though Jesus is being talked about from a different room, but wasn’t invited to come in and join the conversation.
I need more of what Jesus says, and less about how she fixed it.
Nobody is self-sufficient, we all rely on God. Tell me about that.
