every single time i come back to this series or see rainbow's instagram i find myself with back to the warmest the books gave me when i read it! it is way more mature than i expected (with topics such as anxiety, social expectations, family issues etc etc) and it was a lovely surprise. even though they are fantasy book, i believe the author has such a sensitive hand to the whole "coming of age" arch :)
