Finn
by Ashley James
Did someone turn the heat up? Goodness, this book was HOT. Like, so hot, I had to pause it a few times because, well, I needed a minute. I loved the way that Finn and Ash's story developed. Finn is the classic grumpy rancher and Ash is the ray of sunshine he needed in his life. It was a bit of a gentle dance, with a little teasing and a lot of curiosity, but it felt real and emotional at the same time. I loved the dynamic of Finn as a single dad and the way that Ash cared for Tucker was really sweet and endearing and made me like him even more. Ash didn't shy away from the hard, emotional moments and I really enjoyed the open communication between him and Finn.
Ash is a bit of a brat with his taunting, but I liked that he didn't force Finn into anything, but was open to help Finn explore. Once they were together though, Finn's alpha traits coupled with Ash's Daddy Kink was just really fun and really explosive. There were so many things in this book that I could talk about, but the standout here is the porch scene. That scene was hands down the sexiest moment of this book and it was riddled with really hot moments so that's saying a lot.
The audiobook narration by Gregory Salinas and Alex Kydd was absolutely perfect. Their voices blended so well together that it made their story even better. Especially the saucy and sexy moments.
