Treasure Hunters by Chris Grabenstein, James Patterson

4.0

My son, a third-grader, picked out this book from the local bookstore. He loved it and wanted me to read it. I thought it was a fun read, especially as a nice, light summer read.

The story is told through two twins: one twin provides the book's text, while the other twin provided the book's pictures. There are 70 chapters in the book, but each is a short episode of their epic, treasure-hunting journey. It's good for reading a small bit when you only have a few moments to spare. Many of the chapters end on a slight cliff-hanger, which drives the reader to want consume more of the story.

I enjoyed reading this book, and when my son picks out the next in the series, I will most likely read that one, too.
