It took a second for me to get into it (with my phobia of blood & all. Don't ask me why I chose to read a vampire book.) but once I got into it, I didn't want to stop.
This book reminds me a lot of Vampire the Masquerade. Down to how certain aspects of vampires (or Kindred in VtM terms) were all over this book. I think this would be the perfect book for any VtM fan!
I loved how the author pulled me into this world and I appreciate all of the queer representation. So many parts of this book ring true to my own experience as a queer individual.
I loved this book so much.
