My mother was a huge fan of MHC so I thought I'd give one a try. After finishing my first MHC novel, I now know why my mother was a fan. I really enjoyed this book.

The writing style felt nostalgic in a way I can't really explain but really gives me 70's/80's/early 90's vibes. The story was well paced. A little on the nose with the scandal of the book but not annoying.

I think I saw MHC wrote 51 books and I'm looking forward to checking out the other 50.
