Blinded Me With Science by Tara September

4.0

please note that the trigger warnings and topes/themes may contain spoilers
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
HEA: yes
POV: dual 1st person POV
spice: a few open-door spicy scenes
TWs: alcoholism, cheating (not MCs), death of a parent (recounted)
standalone: book 2 in Lessons in Love series (can be read as a standalone)
final thoughts: this was a sweet, steamy, good girl/(reformed) bad boy novella about the daughter of a high school dean and the son of a famous rock star who get to know each other in college after being forced to be science partners.
Steel was sweet, possessive, and willing to be anything Emerson needed just to be by her side.
Emerson was trying to get out from under her parentโ€™s thumbs and find out who she is beyond the deanโ€™s good girl daughter and Steel is the best/worst option for that to happen.
I read this in one sitting, and it was fast paced and easy to read. Canโ€™t wait to read the rest of these novellas!
