Liar, Temptress, Soldier, Spy: Four Women Undercover in the Civil War by Karen Abbott

adventurous informative reflective medium-paced

5.0

During the United States Civil War there were many spies for the Confederacy and for the Union, and this book delves into the lives and achievements of four women who spied and fought for their beliefs on either side.

This is a fascinating piece of history that belongs in text books. It is a book I didn't want to put, and had to remind myself this is not historical fiction, but history. Five stars as I already wish to read it again.
