Still a Ruth Ware completist! I eagerly preorder any new release she has on Libro, as I love the cadence and narration of her work in this format. Imogen Church narrates all of them so well. This falls in the middle of the pack of her work for me, but much better than her last three books (IMO.)

Lyla is a logical scientist who’s feeling a bit stuck. Her actor boyfriend Nico is recruited to be on a survival dating show- the only catch is that she has to come along too. Alone on a private island, these five couples are competing. But things go awry when an unexpected storm comes, changing everything and pitting everyone against each other for a real chance of survival.

I liked the setting and the premise of this one! Like a Love Island meets Survivor type of show, it was compelling. I thought all of the couples were flushed out and interesting, and it was easy to keep track of everyone. I was really into the first 3/4 of the book but found some of the final twists a bit predictable/lackluster. But this is a fun summer/vacation thriller!
