This book is all flowery dialogue and no plot. There’s absolutely no chemistry between Yuki and Grace, and it’s absolutely deranged that Grace would completely abandon her found family that she claims to love so much for this girl she’s met once. I really wish the side characters had actual personalities and weren’t just assigned labels and adjectives. I especially would’ve loved to get to know Agnes beyond just “queer white girl with BPD.” As a queer woman I really really wanted to like this. I’m sad that I didn’t.
