They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera
4.0

4.5/5 stars. I loved it - the concept, the execution, the characters. Despite the title itself being a huge spoiler, the ending made me very sad though I must say that I've predcited the way both our protagonists eventually died. To me, it's not only a book about facing the inevitable end. It touches themes of friendship, family, love, taking risks, how social media can be both a blessing and a curse and more. It made me laugh and cry. The characters were very diverse which is always a huge plus. My only problem was the pacing which felt a bit off once or twice throughout the story. Still, it's definitely one of my favourites of this reading year and I'm looking forward to picking it up again whenever I need a reminder to seize each of my days.
