All Quiet on the Western Front by Erich Maria Remarque

5.0

There is nothing I can say about this book that hasn't already been said. It truly is the greatest war novel ever written - its gripping, touching, horrifying, and it pulls you in deep. I have never been so profoundly moved by a book; reading this is a true experience. I feel like this is one of those books everyone should read at least once. You may think you know how terrible the trenches were, but you can't understand the full horrors until you read this. It's a life-changer.
