The Twelve Topsy-Turvy, Very Messy Days of Christmas by James Patterson

The Twelve Topsy-Turvy, Very Messy Days of Christmas by James Patterson & Tad Safran
Review by Kelly Lacey
This book was a totally unexpected hoot. I was laughing out loud at the nutty awkward situations. I didn’t read the blurb so I went into it expecting a typical fast-paced JP thriller. That isn’t what I got but in the best ever way. James Patterson’s collaboration with Tad Safran is funny, memorable and an excellent holiday gift.
The premise of bringing a song to life through a story is brilliant. This song in particular makes for such a journey for the reader. You have to suspend all reality and just immerse yourself in the madness. There is also a vast amount of heart in the book and I ended it with tears running down my cheeks, which was unexpected but very welcomed.
I hope they do this again with another holiday song. I can’t recommend this enough. I would read this happily each year.
