A review by teddybeer
1984 by George Orwell

5.0

I don’t think I can add anything new to the discourse around this book, but I’ll add a few words, nonetheless. I have heard bits and pieces throughout my life about this book, but I was surprised how much I enjoyed it when I finally sat down to read it. Interesting themes and subjects that still are truly relevant today.

The last third of the book was harrowing, and made me a bit sad, but I don’t think it could end in any other way in the world Orwell had created, or what he was trying to say with those last chapters(if you have read it, you know of what I speak of)

A must read, truly. Not overhyped at all
