4.75 This story seemed very close to the "I know my name is Sam" story/film, but I appreciated that an alternate chapter voice wasn't the victim, but his childhood friend who harbors a painful secret and his sister. I was very much engaged and even lost track of time reading this novel. Give to those who want to read about realistic fiction.
