An amazing sequel to The Midwife of Auschwitz… not quite as heart wrenching (though there were certainly moments), still full of deep family ties and the struggle to be together during times of forced separation due to political evil.

One of the main characters (17-18 y.o.) is sexually active with her boyfriend. A couple bedroom scenes, the first one being more explicit. God’s name misused a couple times. Themes of war, violence, antisemitism. Suicide.
