I had no expectations for this book when I started reading it but I was pleasantly surprised. I really liked the main character and enjoyed the contest/journey/quest the book revolves around. I also thought the romance was sweet and believable unlike the romances in a few books I’ve read this year. I am looking forward to reading the next book and recommend this book to anyone looking for a good ya fantasy:)
