Bachelor Boss
by Sara Ney
Rating: 3 Stars
Sara New hits us with another feel good, low angst rom com in her Bachelors Club series. The sequel to Bachelor Bastard Society, follows our lucky (or unlucky) member Phillip who finds out that he will be sharing office space with Spencer, the girl he totally blew chunks in front of, as his side of the company is getting remodeled.
This was an entertaining read, though I can’t say its my favorite from Sara Ney. The dynamic between Phillip and Spencer is a quirky one that I found myself smiling at even though it took a bit longer than I would have liked to feel the connection and chemistry between the two. Their constant banter and quick whips was the highlight of the story and the relationships each of the characters have with their friends was probably the most thought out dynamic within the novel.
Overall, this story was an okay read for me. Ney delivered on her signature humor and snark, but the pacing of the novel really through me off with the beginning being such a slow burn but the ending coming together so quickly, I never got to fully bask in the romance of it all. However, even with that this one was a super sweet and laugh out loud story, and I’m curious to see how Blaine’s story will turn out!
Huge Thank you to the Author for sending me an ARC in exchange for my honest review!
