I really loved the analogy of the dragons and women’s rights. I had a bit of a rough time with the change in male and female voices at first, but got used to it. I thought the writing was excellent and the main character’s story is heart wrenching and relatable. Setting it in the 1950’s and 1960’s was brilliant in allowing the author to really set the female and male stereotypical dynamics at that time period.
