This book is about how the charge of witchcraft was used against three noblewoman by men who wanted to use them in different ways. It really brought out the lazy feminist in me. No one really took any of the accusations seriously because realistically everyone knew the score.
Wealth confiscated, wife used to bring down her husband and a crown taken away from a queen to take the throne from her son. These women seemed like they had it all yet suffered terribly because of powerful men. Really this book pissed me off and I enjoyed learning about this subject.
I definitely recommend to history lovers!!!
