Acts of Faith by A.M. Arthur

4.0

Loved getting to see Rey and Samuel again and ECSTATIC to see Rey reunite with Faith. He has wanted to be in her life for so long and it was heartwarming to see him finally get to be her dad. However, I also spent a lot of the book getting frustrated with him. It's hard to explain, he didn't really do anything objectionable, he had a lot going on and he was so focused on Faith (like he should be) and his business that he kind of let Samuel slide to the wayside. Samuel on the other hand just had a hard time adjusting to Rey having a life outside of him, which is normal, you get used to things and then life changes it up. I'm so happy that David wasn't really a true interloper. I spent the entire book scared Rey would do something he couldn't take back. I'm really interested to read his story which is next in the series.
