Snowbound by Blake Crouch

It was a decent book if you are looking for a read that will finish in a day or two. The premise and plot are quick and keep rolling along at a good clip. I like plot that moves and the characters move with it. That said, I did not feel much for the characters, I did not care much about their pain and suffering except the initial few chapters. Maybe it's me, maybe it's maybelline. Look, the world is a fucking cruel place and we are getting so jaded by the violence and anarchy that books like this fail to make an impact other than eliciting a bored meh from the readers. It's not a bad book by any means, but the modern reader that is well-entrenched into the way of the things, doesn't feel anything by such books.

We are all gonna die so what is even the point of this review? And why are you reading this?
