The Earl in Winter by Kathryn Le Veque

2.0

Well, first of all, this is misadvertised as “A Medieval Romance” when it takes place in 1746. But also it was just all over the place, there was a whole misdirect as to who the FMC was? And the romance was nonexistent. Plus very religious and preachy, and seemed weird for this guy’s brother to get special treatment as opposed to the other English soldiers. I really just read this as a prelude to the story by Kerrigan Byrne, and I hope that one is better.
