I just found this so boring for a shifter RH PNR book.
Sable was your typical abused/traumatised FMC who escapes her abuser, only to later be captured/kidnapped by him again.
The guys were all typical alpha-holes who don’t really seem to get along even though there is a treaty etc they all has insta-love which I don’t mind in shifter books but this all felt forced. I get that alphas don’t share etc but they did seem to be coming round to the idea towards the end.
The only reason I might want to read on is because of the ending. There was no real plot, other than her abusive uncle and the witch issue that we haven’t actually seen anything of yet. There was no character development and we don’t really know much about anyone at this point. For an opening book I felt it was too short, fell short of any proper kind of angst and drama to really make me want do follow through and read anymore.
I genuinely didn’t feel like this was a shifter book, just something about it feels off.
I’m going to guess sable is a hybrid and is half wolf and half witch, why else would the elder say she has a wolf.
I don’t really care enough about the characters to want to continue
