While often slow, I could not get enough of The Count. Even his mundane activities such as brushing his teeth, reading the morning paper, dining in the restaurant each night, etc. were still interesting. His relationships were real and full of awkwardness, love, and humor. I wish it had been a tad shorter - this was a very long book!
