Harry Bosch is called to investigate a murder in a tough LA neighborhood of a liquor store owner Mr.Li . Harry knows Mr.Li because he had once offered him sanctuary from one if the vicious LA riots.Mr.Li had swallowed a bullet casing to give Bosch a clue knowing that it would help him.
That little bullet casing leads Bosch to a parallel crime universe.As he gets closer to the truth.One of the triads takes something precious to his heart-his daughter-.He must travel to Hong Kong to save her before she is sold for her organs.
This books was genuinely one of the best so far.The first 50 or so pages were a bit boring but after that all the action begins.With two finesse plot twists in the end.This book was definitely a great read and it is definitely a book worth rereading.
