Rapture by Lauren Kate

I will have to admit that I feel a little sadness ending this series. Now, for many of you, this series wasn't your favorite. I on the other hand, enjoyed this series from the very beginning. So when I went into this last book, I tried to drag it on for as long as possible.

The whole book felt kinda slow-paced. The action parts got right to the point and ended almost as quickly as they started. I liked that, although it wasn't as "on the edge of your seat" excitment as most are, the
Spoiler2 bigger twists
made up for it.

The ending... I don't even want to get into spoilers on this one. We all know that this was the novel where it would all end. Would Luce and Daniel finally have their "Happily Ever After?" Lets just say it was....trying to find the right word.....bittersweet? I don't even know at this point if that's the right word for it either. But I will stick with that for now.

It honestly ended as best as it could. Although, I felt a little dissapointed in a way? Not to say that thousands of years depended on this ending, but I dunno I felt a little let down. I wanted to give this book 3 stars, but the last 5 chapters are what really turned it around for me.

Do we finally go back to the beginning and learn exactly how the curse came into play? How Luce and Daniel first met? How everything led them to this? Absolutely. I couldn't be anymore freaking happy about it either. It was perfect. It was exactly how I wanted to picture all the pieces coming together. It was beautiful, shocking, sad, and over-all breathtaking.

Who woulda thunk-it!? ;)

So I will conclude that it ended almost as perfectly as it probably could. All the answers that I wanted were met, all the puzzle pieces were put together and everyone
Spoilerexcept Gabbe and Molly :( *tear*
had the happy ending we were all hoping for.

My insides are warm and fuzzy, yet a little sad. But it was a great series. One that I will have to admit may read again...one day ;)
