I swear these books will heal every ache in my tiny little soul. The tenderness in these relationships, both romantic and platonic and familial just make me feel so mushy inside. I also giggled quite a lot at this volume in between choking back tears because I love these characters so much. I really like once again how in depth Oseman goes into Nick and his struggles with finding himself outside of this identity he was pushed into and the emphasis on the fact that Charlie alone cannot help him do it. I also really liked how it dealt with Charlie's body image issues and I was so proud seeing him on stage playing the drums with his whole heart.
I am heartbroken that volume six will be the final volume but I still cannot wait to see how their story ends.
