Ok this is more of a warning than a review, but I’ve seen this in a lot of ~female manipulator book recommendations~ and what have you, etc., and I really have to disclaim that it’s truly a lot worse than that. Quality wise, the book is very good and I do think I’d recommend it but reader discretion is advised!!!!!! PLEASE be careful when you pick this up bc the trigger warnings are no joke. This book covers a LOT of heavy material
and does so from the perpetrator’s point of view. Irina (the protagonist) is both sexual assaulted and sexually assaults others. I’ll go more into depth abt the specifics in the trigger warnings but I really do think you should be in the right headspace when you read this
Overall, very well written and a very strong character study but absolutely sickening
