I gave this book a 3, but it should probably be a 4. I have been a faithful reader of Modern Love for many years, so quite a few of these essays we’re familiar to me, making it slightly less special. A couple are even included in the new television series. That being said, the essays are an emotional rollercoaster of love and loss. It was a great book to finish out the year and a good reminder to be grateful for the love in our lives.
