This was a likeable enough book, fun to read. Though there was a few issues i had- one with the pacing. It felt like we were just thrown in and everything happened so fast despite how long the book was. I wish i saw more of Anna and Brooke before Brooke asked her to be her fake girlfriend. I would have loved to have seen them at Anna's restaraunt more before they left.

I loved how cute they were together, they fit perfectly to me. Though the pet names were a little cringe and very, very much repetitive i could get past it because, like i said, they were so cute. I just chose to ignore it when they called each other by them. To add to this, there was quite a lot of repetitve things in this book. Like with the blushing constantly? And Brookes ears never seemed to not be pink. And Anna smiling every second, which was fine, but the way it kept telling us she was smiling was not great to read about. Some of it was also a little bit cheesy but i could deal with that.

I liked the way Brooke dealed with her family and how Anna was there to support her every single second throughout. The way Brooke didn't let her mother ruin her time with Anna and the way she kept her head held high through everything her mother put her through was admirable and written really well.

The side characters were fun, i loved Anna's roomate that we met at the end and both of Brooke's friends.

Despite those things, this was a cute, solid, easy read that i got through in hours and did actually really like. Anna's character was loveable and Brooke treated her amazing. They were perfect together. I liked the epilogue, though it was only two days after everything, i found myself cheesing at the end of it anyway.
