The third book in the Riftwar Saga, and the weakest till now in my opinion. It is fast paced, but the story is much simpler and straight forward, as if Feist just had to get it over with. I found the two Magician books superior in many respects. But I do plan to perhaps read The Empire Trilogy later down the road.
