Dear Wife by Kimberly Belle
3.0
This book was weird. And not really in a good way?
It took a few days to get into because I honestly didn’t understand why the cop was giving his perspective. He didn’t really add to the story at all in my opinion. Even at the end. Still didn’t get it.
But then I got to the end and was like well what was the point of this other characters viewpoint? Like were they just there to confuse us? I didn’t get it.
And there were three people telling their story this entire time. So you do get three different perspectives.
It was interesting, but not edge of your seat interesting. It was an okay thriller.
The normal domestic violence that you would see. No one is made crazy though, so that’s good.
Both of us guessed who one of the characters were about halfway through. So it didn’t kind of ruin the ending for me at least
