Stewart Lee once joked that Dan Brown writes sentences like 'The famous man looked at the red cup,' and this is certainly in that sort of arena. That said, I had a great time—it's stupid fun, with good guys beating the bad guys. The narrator on the audiobook sounds like an American infomercial, but that also kind of works in the context of Jack Reacher (he is great at other people's voices, so it's definitely a choice). I plan to read more Reacher, but I think I will stick to the paperbacks.
