I wasn't sure if I would like this book at first but figured I'd try it since I'd heard the audiobook version was well done. I've got to say, my expectations were totally blown out of the water. I was invested from the first chapter of this story. I LOVED the audiobook narrators, I believe I read somewhere they did duet narration (I think is what it's called? Where they're in the same room when they're recording) and everything just sounds amazing. Their chemistry, the banter, the expressiveness of the VAs, all of it was so well done. I especially loved Sloan's VA because you can really hear the emotion in her voice, regardless of the type of scene/mood she's doing. But both of them were so amazing. Truthfully I wish the story was longer. I get why it isn't, since there are time jumps, but I just enjoyed it all so much I'm sad it ended so soon! My favorite part by far is the banter between the two MCs. Based on the subject material I expected to be a bit more grossed out/off put but it's not overly done or dwelled on. Anyway 10/10, def recommend.
