Three Days to Be Ruined by Giovanna Siniscalchi, Giovanna Siniscalchi
4.0
It’s been a while since I last read a historical romance, and this one was quite enjoyable. I’ve always been drawn to ruggedly handsome Highlanders, which is what initially attracted me to this book. Boyd definitely fits the bill—I loved his tough exterior paired with his softer, more vulnerable side.
Beth was also admirable, is determined and brave, willing to risk everything to save her family. Proposing a marriage of convenience to Boyd leads her into unexpected challenges, from wine tastings to surviving his maddening expectations at a Christmas house party. Their banter, trials, and undeniable chemistry made the story hard to put down. The story itself was decent and makes for a quick read, thanks to the easy-to-follow writing.
It’s a sweet tale with a few open-door spicy scenes that you’ll enjoy! If you’re into historical romance featuring a rugged Highlander, this one is definitely worth picking up. I highly recommend it to fans of the genre—this one's for you!
